Which phone is better, Xioami or OPPO  top model smartphones in 2023?

Oppo and Xiaomi are one of the most successful phone brands in the world. Both Xiaomi and Oppo are China-based companies. Xiaomi is now the second largest smartphone maker in the world after Samsung. Also, Xiaomi uses its own MIUI Operating System and it gives users a mixed feeling of Apple and Android system. In 2021, Oppo launched its own operating system called ColorOS 12, which is based on Android.

Xiaomi 12 Pro is their best smartphone released in December 2021 while Oppo Find X5 Pro is the most popular smartphone released in February 2022. Both the models are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor

Design

The Xiaomi 12 Pro uses an older model's display. Their device does not have IP68 certification and its design is similar to the previous model. Oppo Find X5 Pro uses ceramic body. Beautiful colors and designs are used. Gorilla glass protection is used. Oppo Find X5 Pro is a very durable smartphone. It also has IP68 certification, which makes it dustproof and waterproof.

Display

Oppo Find X5 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Pro use the same display. Both models have AMOLED panels with Quad HD+ resolution of 1440p. Supports refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. Both the devices have added in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speaker features.

The camera

Oppo Find X5 Pro, and Xiaomi 12 Pro use good quality cameras. However, Oppo takes better pictures than Xiaomi. A 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 lens is used here. Besides, a telephoto sensor of 13 megapixels has been used. Features like ultra wide and optical zoom are used.

Hardware

Both the smartphones use Snapdragon processor. The Oppo device has 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The 512GB storage version is only available in the Chinese market. Oppo uses a customized interface of ColorOS while Xiaomi uses the MIUI operating system.

Battery

Oppo smartphones have bigger batteries of 5000 mAh and Xiaomi 4600 mAh. Both smartphones feature fast charging.

The price

Xiaomi 12 Pro is priced around Rs 1 lakh while Oppo Find X5 Pro is priced at Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand. Oppo's build quality, battery and camera performance are much better than Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro packs plenty of raw power for blazing-fast performance and charging speeds, but falls short in vital areas such as the battery and the camera. A good enough buy for those with a need for speed, but you can get truly great phones for the same price or less.

Xiaomi is offering just two versions of the phone. Both have 256GB of storage and you can select between 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The phone is available in three colors: Graphite, Blue, and Purple.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro’s camera module looks more utilitarian with its segmented rectangular shape. The main camera has a significant raised lens with a reflective rim which makes it really stands out.
